What's more fun than a basket of eggs? A remote control boat is more fun! You can use it in a lake, river, even your bath tub for hours of enjoyment. Your kids will love it too! Grown up boys or men as they are normally called, love their toys. So why not get them what they want? Matching RC boats for father and son.

They'll have a ton of fun racing each other, knocking each other about on the lake, and have a special bonding that only fathers and sons can have. However, you have some choices to make. RC boats come in a wide variety of sizes, shapes, and models. So, you get to decide what type they should have.

They come in the kid's toy models but are just as fun to play around with as the big models. The toy models remote control boats run on batteries, are made of durable plastic, and if properly taken care of, will last until they tire of them. Sometimes the boats are so poorly made they won't stand up to a full days running but there are toy rc boats that are very good and will be a lot of fun.

The big model boats come in fiberglass or wood, are very sturdy and run electric or gas power. However much fun the big models are they are still expensive compared to toy models. But that shouldn't stop you from getting them a remote control boat. Just imagine how much fun father and son will have, spending hours out on the lake egging each other on and dare deviling each other to faster turns, and higher jumps.

Be sure to look around before choosing the right boats for them. Check out your local hobby shop, the Internet, and ask around at some of the RC hobbyists clubs. They can let you know the type of rc boat that's good for father and son. You can find the clubs at your local Hobby Store.

There's always the little holidays throughout the year so you won't have any problems giving them the boats. Sometimes the neatest boat you see in the store is not the best. On the Internet are rc boat forums you can check to see what type of boat is the best for them. They are always happy to help and they love to talk about their remote control boats.

So you shouldn't have too much of a decision after you've checked around and look at the different remote control boats. Be sure they will last for a couple of hours with the batteries or gas and your two "boys" should be happy as clams – for a while.
